YOU WARM MY HEART!

Hi guys.
Can you believe that today is finally the day for the TGF - Hoppin' into the Holidays All-Customer blog hop? I am so excited to share my cards and project with you. I just had to participate in all three categories....So this card is for "Let it Snow". We were to use snow in a creative way on our cards. I had just purchased the I heart sweaters set and I wanted to show them playing out in the snow. I of course was watching them the whole time, and as you can see that devilish little Ian started to throw some snowballs at the window. Heehee.. It wasn't long after that they had to come in for the day as it was getting very cold out.
Well, because I know that there is a lot more blogs to hop onto I will keep this short. Please be sure to check the following two posts for my "Santa Baby" part of the hop and "Holiday Treats"' Thanks for stopping by. I hope you all have a great time at the hop.

SANTA BABY-TGF HOPPIN INTO THE HOLIDAYS HOP...

Hi again.
Thanks for joining my blog for TGF- Hoppin' into the Holidays Blog hop. This is my post for the "Santa Baby" category. I have to admit that I kind of went a little overboard on this one. In this category we are to make a Santa-inspired card/cards. Well, I made my card and I just had so much fun that I decided that I had to make a lighted wreath for our front door as well. So without taking up anymore of your time....Here first is my card and then my wreath. Please be sure to catch my last post for the "Holiday Treats" entry. Have fun on the hop.

HOLIDAY TREATS-TGF HOPPIN INTO THE HOLIDAYS..

Ok guys if you are still with me this is my treat box that I made for the hop...I don't think I am going to bore you with the details. It has taken me over two hours to get my pictures to load, so I figure I will not push my luck any further. I did however pull out my Signature stamp set from the Greeting farm for this one. She just looks like she is ready to bring everyone some wonderful treats. I wish that I could tell you that I made the box, but I didn't. I cheated and bought the box for .50c and then I covered it with my DP. Much easier at this point. heehee... We did however make some wonderful Carmel corn and put it in a Ziploc baggie so that it would stay fresh for when I give this to my friends for Christmas. I hope that you are having fun and I thank you again for checking out all of my entries. Have a great evening.
Hugs, Lisa G

IT'S ALL IN THE DIMPLES....

Hi guys.
Thanks for everything yesterday. I am not going to post a card this morning as I have three posts for tonight TGF blog hop at 5pm our time, and it took me two hours last night to get all of my pictures loaded. I am sure that blogger was just a little overloaded with everyone's cards and projects. heehee I am so excited, I can not wait to see everyone's blogs.
I do have to mention that yesterday turned out to be a good day. It is always hard to say goodbye to someone you love. My children are like me. They love their relatives so much and with parts of the family that live in different states it was very special to be able to spend time with them all. With that being said I have decided to share a picture with you of my two children (I am sure you know what they look like.) and my two nieces that are Jerry's Sister's two girls. Norma and Dale have a very handsome Son as well, but he was not able to be here. (Hi Justin. We missed you.) I think you will agree that they are all very beautiful. Notice also all those dimples? Yeah, that's from Jerry's side of the family... All four of them have very black eyes and long eyelashes...I wish I could say the same... heehee They are all heading back to Arizona, Illinois, New York and PA. today, so I am keeping them all in my heart that they all get home safely. We will miss them terribly.
Have a wonderful day and hopefully I will see you back here tonight for the big hop!
Hugs, Lisa G

HAPPY HOLIDAYS...

Hi guys. I hope that everyone had a terrific weekend. I was off both Saturday and Sunday and I sure do enjoy that. We received some heart breaking news Friday night, so the weekend wasn't quite what we had anticipated it to be. My Sister-in-law Judy passed away. This is Jerry's Brother's wife, and because Jerry is the baby of the family and quite a bit younger she helped raise him along with their own two children. Judy and David are kind of the reason that Jerry and I started dating in the first place. Our first date was at a surprise anniversary party for them. It is very hard to see my husband so upset. Jerry's sister and her family flew in Friday from Arizona to be with my Brother-in-law and his family, so that has been good for Jerry as well. It has been five years since we have all been together and it is so hard to not have Judy there. She was always the nurturer and she loved all of us so much and loved to be surrounded by all. Please keep us all in your prayers today. I am off to work early so that we can attend her funeral this afternoon.
Do to all of this I will make this a quick post. First let my remind everyone that tomorrow is the TGF All-Customer blog hop and thank goodness I have already had all three of my projects done and ready to go.
Ok, now for my card today I decided to use some more of the wonderful Merry January paper from WeR Memory Keepers. What can I say I just love this line. I also decided that I had to use my newest Ian from the farm. Cafe Ian! Isn't he adorable? I know that I am going to have to make my Brother-in-law Jerry a card with this guy. Jerry W (my Sister's husband) loves coffee and it is rare to see him without a cup in his hand. As I used pop dots to put Ian on my card I decided to cut off his curly steam so I put some pearls in their place. :O)
Well, we are going into another winter storm warning... so we'll see what it is doing out there just as soon as the sun comes up. I hope that everyone has a very safe and happy Monday.
See you back here tomorrow for the big blog hop.

HI...

Hi guys. I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We were able to go up to my Mom and Dad's. We had a great time as my Sister and her family were also there and she made the best Turkey dinner! Yum.... I am usually the person that takes a little white meat, some stuffing and a roll and call it good. Well, let me just say that I felt like I had eaten the whole turkey by myself. I mean OMG...the sweet potatoes, the stuffing and the whole dinner was soooo GOOD! The only bad thing to our whole get together was that my oldest nephew and his family along with my brother and his family were not able to come. It would have been great if we had all been there, but we still had a fun time. After dinner and a little intermission, we got together and played a couple different versions of UNO... The last game of UNO we played was UNO Attach, and my poor Dad kept getting all of the card. LMBO... It really was a great day. I only wish that I didn't work today so that we could have stayed a little later than we did.
I haven't looked out my window this morning as it is still dark and because I know it is super cold out still I am waiting for daylight so that I can look out the front window to see if it snowed liked they were predicting. I am happy that yesterday got up to 20 degrees, but boy oh boy I hope that it at least gets above freezing soon.
Ok, I better get to it so that I can get ready for work. My card today is one that I made for the Mystery Monday challenge over at the CA&F blog. I love the card that we are suppose to be casing, and I am not real pleased with how mine turned out, but I figure that I started it I had better finish it. heehee....
I just had to use C.C. Monday from TGF. I just love her hair and her big eyes.(Even when I don't blow her head up.) She wanted to go with the kind of Punk Rocker look, so I really let her have her way on the eye shadow. When I started to color her hair I got to looking at some of my previous posts and I realized that I tend to use all of the reddish hair that I really love so I decided that she was going to have some two toned hair. I have to say that I kind of like that. heehhee
I also used some of the BG paper pad eerie even though this is not a Halloween card.
Well guys, here she is. Like I said, not my best...However I did get her onto a card so it's not that bad. lol Have a great Friday. I am hoping to come home and craft. We'll see.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING CHARLIE BROWN...

Hi guys.
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope that you all have a very safe and Happy Thanksgiving. I also wish that I had some fantastic card to share today, but alas that is not the case. We have been having power surges since yesterday (I am not complaining as some parts of town were out of power for over 4 hours.) and I decided to just shut down my computer. On top of that I have also been so busy at work and getting ready for this weekends blog hop that I don't have a even a simple little card made. So I decided to do the next best thing and share a picture of our family's favorite holiday picture. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. We have always enjoyed the Peanuts gang and now our kids do too. heehee... We are however in the middle of a Heat Wave today. We are actually at 20 degrees right now! Yay! Are you one of those Black Friday shoppers? I don't usually shop the deals, but OMG... there are some awesome crafting deals out there. I work tomorrow, so my money is safe. lmbo... OK, Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Hugs, Lisa G

RAZA MA TAZ...

Hi guys.
Wow, it's only Wednesday and all I can think is "What a week!". Anyway I have to make this a super short one this morning as it is -18 with the windchill and we keep getting power surges that are getting closer together this morning. So far they are saying that school is in today, but we aren't sending ours. I don't think that my kids waiting for a bus this afternoon in that kind of cold is necessary.
Ok guys, my power has gone off for the 4th time so I will get to it. My brother-in-law is a 3rd grade teacher and he love Taz. He has been having problems this last week with his knees and he is one of the most active people I know, so it has been really hard for him to just sit still. He is also an avid reader, so I decided to make him a Taz book marker to go with all his books he is reading this week. I will have to come back and add my details later in hopes that our power stays on. Have a wonderful and safe day out there.
Hugs, Lisa G

BRRRRRrrrrrrrr......

Hi guys.
Just a super quick post this morning. We are in the middle of a blizzard and we have been getting snow since yesterday around 1pm. It is so super duper cold here and with the 30 mph winds it is about -6 degrees out there. The kids have no school today due to the weather, but I am heading out the door very soon. My DH has been outside shoveling and starting my car since about 6am. Oh well, off to work I go. At least it is a new Glee tonight. Kurt's Dad is getting married, or at least that is what the previews lead you to believe. We'll see! :O)
Have a super warm and safe Tuesday.
Hugs, Lisa G

YOU WARM MY SOUL & MELT MY HEART...

Good morning everyone.
Wow, can you believe that it is the Monday before Thanksgiving already? I can not believe it. I can not believe that there is snow outside my window. heehee I am sitting here this morning listening to my Glee Christmas CD and looking at the crisp white snow thinking " I am in the mood for all of this!" I love Christmas morning with Jerry and the kids, (all of us in matching PJs, boys in theirs and girls in theirs) just enjoying the time together."
I can not wait until Christmas now and I am happy that there is snow on the ground!
Ok well, before I get too far off the beaten path let me get to my card today. This one I made for the Sketch it Up challenge from the CA&F blog. I have to say that this one just fell together, and I love it! I don't know if you have noticed, but I have been into mashing up my different stamps lately. I think it is Amy's fault. lol... She is always changing her stamps around and she is very very gifted at doing it. So anyway, I put together Beanie Anya and I heart Sweaters Anya and I think that she looks like she is ready to hit the new snow and play for quite sometime.
Well, I wish you all a very happy Monday on this snowy November day. If you are in an area with snow drive safe.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Good morning everyone.
I hope that you all have a great day so that you can start your weekends. I have to work this weekend, but it is only until 1pm on Saturday so I won't complain. I have two kids that have no interest in going to school this morning, so I will keep this short so that I can give myself extra time to get them MOTIVATED! bawwwwhaaawwwwhaaa......
Let me get right to it. I wanted to make a card for Mystery Monday over at the CA&F blog and play with Beanie Anya. So, I put them together. I also used a different combination for her skin as she was outside in the cold and you just know that sweet face is really chilled. Don't you just love those long pony tails too? I think she is just so super sweet and I can't wait to give her a ton of different hair colors. heehee... I made this little sweetheart with black hair because I was checking out some videos on YouTube last weekend when I ran across Marie's videos on how she colors black hair with Copic markers. You can see her finished card here. I really liked her method and I have to say I love how mine turned out as well.
Well guys I had better get a move on. Have a great day.

THINKING OF YOU...

Hi guys.
I sure hope your week is going good. Sorry for no post yesterday. It's has just been one of those crazy busy weeks. I was able to make it home Tuesday night with 15 minutes to spare until Glee started. I have to say that I really enjoyed the show. It was mostly songs from Singing in the Rain. When Jerry and I were first married we were both home one weekend and we had just put up our Christmas tree (it took up over half of our little living room & Jerry had to use fishing line to secure it to the glass sliding door. ) and it was snowing outside. We headed to the local video store and Jerry rented that movie for us to watch. I had never seen it and I fell in love with it then and there. What can I say I love Gene Kelly and I love Singing in the rain. Well, when Mr Shue. sang make them laugh I just could not help but love Glee last night. Insert HUGH smile here. :O)
Ok, I will get on with it. My card today is another one that I was playing around with this weekend. I decided to mix up some of my Creeper Crews. I used a little bit of Monday with a pinch of the Sweet & Toxic to come up with this sweetie. I have to say that I just love how she turned out.
I also was able to make her look ready for the season with a little help from Basic Greys Pyrus paper pad. Love it! heehee... Ok guys, I hope you have a wonderful Thursday. I will talk at you tomorrow.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING...

Hi guys.
I know that turkey day isn't quite here, but I just had to play with this adorable Kraftin Kimmie. I think she is just too cute! Her name is Merry and she is one busy girl getting ready for all those hungry family members. lol... I just have to say that she was super fun to color up. Her hair just told me what it wanted to look like and then it was there. That darn turkey, not so much! Even now, I can see in my head what I wanted it to look like. However it just would not come. :O{ Soooo, this is how it ended up. gghhrrrrr! (Kind of reminds me of the turkey in Christmas Vacation...) LMBO
Well, I am running super behind this morning and I had better get a move on. So for today I will leave you all with one word that I know makes me very happy. GLee! Yes, it is Tuesday and Glee is sure to be super super good tonight. So have a great day and talk at you tomorrow.

YOU SIMPLY SHINE...

Hi guys. I hope that you all had a great weekend. I want to remind you all to head over to Amy Young's wonderful blog to see who the winners were from her Birthday blog hop! That's right Sweet November Stamps is one year old and she has some exciting new stamps that are available today over at All That Scraps.
I wanted to share with you a simple card that I made with some awesome new stamps that I have run into. Yes, I have discovered the Unity Stamp Company! I only have a one set so far, but I really like their stamps. They are made out of deeply etched red rubber (my personal favorite!) and they come in both cling and thin wood mounted. You can check them out here. Anyway getting back to my card. I watched this technique over on StampTV with GinaK, and I really wanted to give it a try. It is super simple yet turns out looking so great. I went simple on this one, but I am sure that you could do just about anything you wanted to with it. All I did was use my Cuttlebug embossing folder, my score pal and a couple of cute stamps. LOVE IT!
Ok, it's Monday and I am heading back to work so I better get my tush in gear. hehee... I worked hard all weekend to make some projects for the blog hop that is coming up over at the Greeting Farm on November 30th. You can check out the details here. Until tomorrow. I hope you all have a great day.
Hugs, Lisa G
